Not sure if I am understanding you right, but I set mine to play a video.
You can find the option in Device.
I maybe wrong, but this worked for me. Upload the video into the screen itself (Internal or SD Card).
Select the video and click on Play Select to make sure the video works and is playing on the screen.
Once done, select StartMode as "play video"
