Question about the 3.5 inch screen with the lastest software.

This week mI downloaded the latest (english) version and now it seems I cannot adjust the screen brightness anymore, or a least the software does not save the setting. Does anybody have the same issue? Or does anybody know a solution for this?
The sreen is now way to bright for my build (see picture)

When I want to adjust (lower) the brightness I ge this pop-up with some chinese comment. Unfortunately I'm not able to translate this, anybody out here who can help with this?

Same here, but the message appears in english. Looks like a sw bug.
I'm using Landscape Deep Space theme (I'm not sure if its related or not).
