When you first installed it, did you use a 9pin cable? Whether the 9pin cable is plugged into somewhere else, such as a light or fan connector

Good morning, I think I have the same problem.
It rarely happens that the display goes off and turzx gives me failed connection. Rebooting the computer I find the display on as in the picture and turzx fails to recognize the device giving me connection failed. The only ways to fix this is to turn off the computer, disconnect the power and reconnect everything, otherwise disconnect the 9 pin cable and reconnect it to the motherboard.

I have always connected the 8.8 monitor via 9-pin cable and used a default theme.

Yes, mine also like that. Sometimes get stuttering white screen with some green lines on the right side. Need to replug the screen connection many times to get reconnected.

I am having a nightmare with mine was working just fine and now after a windows reinstall it won't connect :-(

Greetings. I have the same problem with my home PC. With my work PC it works great (with the USB cable as I have a mini PC for working), with my home PC I tried to connect it via a 9pin cable but it doesn't connect. It actually turns on even before starting the PC. Let me start by saying that I had the 5-inch model at home which works very well, I just wanted to try the 8.8-inch one and give the 5-inch one to my daughter.

i am not sure is it of your case, sometines i will get the device not to be connected but not all the times. After i moved all files from internal storage to sandisk class 10 64G SD card, the case not happen again.
