How to open /edit/ view theme files .DATA files to create custom theme

I have tried the built in theme editor , it doesn't work for me, is there any program I could use to edit the theme files? any tutorial on how to create custom themes? thank you all,

you need click in this, for edit the theme. OBS: theme need's be ".data". If don't be".data" don't work.

OK, so, for edit the codigo, is very complicate. Becuse te codigo is very very long. furthermore, the codes, is very bad for understod. The method more easy is, open software, click in "theme edit">"load theme">"select a (file.data)"> edit theme
